Halloween

Ta-Da! Here they are!
So Luke was the monkey this year. He was just as cute as Kurt when he was 1. I love his coy little face in this shot!
Leo and his Rocket Jack-o-Lantern
Most people had to be told who he was (1/2 of those still didn't know who he was), but once they knew, they LOVED his costume. His hair was by far the biggest hit though.
We trick or treated with some friends (which Kurt loved). Most of the evening looked like this- big kids up front with the little monkeys (one of the other little brothers was a monkey too) straggling behind them all
But there were a couple times they walked together
Luke was more interested in everyone's decor (he is currently obsessed with pumpkins) than the candy. The candy impact didn't hit him until later.
When we got home he decided to become Leo the Monkey
And a short while after that, started devouring the candy. Look how happy he is - rolling around in the candy...Our living room floor became his "candy store."
(You might notice at the top of the picture some of Kurt's organization. He began sorting and categorizing the candy after we dumped it out - LifeSaver Gummies in one pile, boxes of Dots all lined up together, Tootsie Rolls in the right corner... His mothers child at heart)
Again, my apologies for the fuzz...
This kid makes me laugh all the time. He was bowling with his candy here - a chocolate eyeball (unwrapped might I add) was his bowling ball and the ghost dots his pins. He didn't eat them, he just played with them.
And not only did they bring in a haul for themselves, but scored Daddy a big bucket of "chocolate." At one house they told Kurt he could get one for Mommy too. But I told him to get a chocolate one for Daddy because that was his favorite. From then on, he would always be looking for the chocolate ones for Daddy. When it came time for the "big inspection" they happily sorted a pile for Daddy and a pile for them. We'll see if that still happens next year...

Your boys are so cute.... and apparently, I am out of the loop because I still don't know who Leo is, but you are right- I love the hair!

Well, of course the Laskers know who Leo is. Jacoby was so excited to meet who I'm sure he believed was the real Leo! :)

Leo is a character on the show Little Einsteins on the Disney channel. It's a fun show- they teach music and art.
