Comfy?

I'm not sure how or why he does it, but he likes to sleep just sort of in bed. Yes, he is really sleeping in these pictures. I have to check on him every night to make sure he's actually in his bed.

For a small graduation present, I bought Brandon tickets to a Tigers game. Turns out he's a fan and I had no idea. :) We decided to take the whole fam for a fun adventure.

Riding the "Tiger-Go-Round" with Daddy. He loved it before it started moving, then got a little hesitant and wanted down once it started to move, but by the end, Brandon had to pry him off his tiger because he was having so much fun.

And we even got a fireworks show. Kurt was not a fan of this part. But think it was because it was so loud where we were sitting. Not only did we have the music right above us, but the pops and bangs reverberated a ton. I thought it was pretty loud too, so I can only imagine what his ears felt like. We were sad he didn't/couldn't enjoy it as much as we thought he would.

"Cheese"

Kurt really likes to say "cheese" when we take his picture. This one was while we were on our way home from Iowa City and one of my favorite shots of him lately.
And yes, he's eating a hamburger...perhaps this is why Wendy's means dinner. But it couldn't be - this was from McDonalds! :)

Hair Cut

A little boy at church inspired me to give Kurt an updated do. Usually I only use scissors on him, but today I went for the clippers. It wasn't an easy task...and it still isn't perfect (but there are no bald spots despite what Brandon says), but I am pretty proud of my artistry. :)

Brandon has to be at school until 6:15 on Tuesday's then he has scouts at 7:00, so we always stop to get him dinner before we pick him up so that he'll get to the church on time. And Kurt always trys to mooch off him as we drive home. Today, I picked Wendy's. As we turned into the parking lot and into the drive thru, Kurt got really excited and yelled, "Oooh, Dinner!" What a character huh? :)

Home Sweet Home

Last weekend we made the 7 hour drive to Iowa City to try to find somewhere to live. And thankfully, we were successful! Yea!! We were able to find a 3 bed (+ office) house just 7 blocks away from the music school. We're excited to have a little bit of space and a yard. Here we come Iowa!
