Cre8ting

Since Lego's don't last forever, I try to take pictures of their creations for them. Brandon was very impressed with this one Luke did, I think because of his age. So I took a picture of it for him.
He really does have a very creative brain. He made this duck out of some blocks we have.
And a cute face :)
And because I'm a horrible mother, I don't keep hardly anything they draw. It's not that I don't love the pictures, I just don't want to store them for 20 years. But so we have record of them, I take pictures.
These drawings are all Kurt's.
This is Nephi's boat.
Samuel the Lamanite
Captain Hook
This is Luke's first letter. He wrote to Cinder-Ella (Grandma Ella) about our sledding adventures. He wrote, (most spelling was on his own):
"I went down the mountain and hurt my knee." Can you follow it? :)

Sledding

Kurt had the day off from school so I took them over to the park for a little bit of fun.
They were a little apprehensive at first, the hill looked a little big to them. So what does any good mom do? Yeah, I pushed 'em down. :) Luke screamed for the first half and giggled the last half.
Then they got adventurous and wanted to go off the "jump."
Yea! So much fun!
Kurt doesn't steer to well, so it took him awhile, but he finally hit it
And then again
Then they tried sledding together
And a day of sledding wouldn't be complete without taking someone out - yep, he nails the kid. He flipped up backwards, feet in the air. The evil side of me wishes I'd just kept shooting and captured the moment.
And a couple face-plants :)
We had a great afternoon!

Baby #3

Meet baby Bascom #3
It was fun to see things in 3D this time around. You really can see the face already.
Yep, boy #3
Aside from the very real possibility of him being nameless his entire life, we're happy for another healthy boy coming to our family.

Snowman Snow?

We finally got some snow and the boys wanted to build a snowman. So we went out to try, but it wasn't snowman snow. They were sad, but decided to build a snow volcano instead.
It was taking awhile, so they took a break for snow angels
2 days later we got more snow. It made the tree's grow hair.
And we tried snowmen again, this time with success.
Luke turned out to be an excellent snowball roller.
He kept making more and more. He didn't do anything with them, just roll them up and leave them where they were when he couldn't roll them anymore.
Then they went back to work on the volcano they started a couple days ago.
They weren't happy with this and wanted to keep working, but it was cold and getting dark so I made them call it quits.

Jesus wanted another sunbeam

It took me a couple weeks to remember to get this cutie's picture on Sunday. He's so excited to be in "Kurt's primary."
And "Missionary Kurt," our new CTR5
They look like they're ready to go. I'm glad they have had such good examples to look up to in their lives.

Death of my Computer = No more from me. No idea when we'll be able to afford a new one :( I hope you can live without me for awhile

Europe

Due to the daunting task of sorting through, uploading, telling you about all our pictures, I've put it off. But it's been too long. My goal for the weekend is to do it, we'll see. But I'm going to post them backwards so you read it in order. So you won't see a new post on top, you'll have to scroll down to get the next one.
I hope you enjoy seeing a bit of our journey.
