Kool-Aid

Luke has the funniest smile sometimes...he scrunches up his whole face so that his eyes are closed and cheeks are squishy and then he gives us his huge gummy smile. Brandon calls him "kool-aid" because it reminds him of Kevin from The Office and something about the kool-aid man's eyes being closed when he smiled. I can't catch a still shot of his face, so I tried a video. It's a little blurry, but you'll see it (especially at the end).

And this one is just giggles- I love hearing them laugh.

Strike!

We went bowling for FHE. We showed Kurt some video footage on the computer before we left and he was very excited to go. He wouldn't put his ball down the entire time we were there. I tried to use it once (basically I'm a wimp and can't handle the full weight balls) and he got mad and told me that it was HIS ball.

And the final scores...

You'd think I was player 1, Kurt was player 2 and Brandon was player 3. But no, Kurt was #1, I was #2 and Brandon was #3. Kurt was the only player to get a strike - he actually got 2. And it was not due to the saving grace of the bumpers...I'd say these bungee cord bumpers were worthless. We still had 14 gutterballs (with me having most of them)

We finally found Hawkeye shirts that we liked, were their size and didn't cost $20 a piece. Kurt is very excited to have a Hurkey shirt.

Budding Artist

Call him creative, imaginative, gifted, etc. This kid blows our minds sometimes. I think it's simply the coolness of having the camera in his hands, but he loves to take pictures. Here are a few he took the other night.
