Someone Here Has Just Turned 4!

Special birthday pancakes (with sprinkles in them) for the birthday boy

We took some time off from settling in and took the boys bowling

We started off with the bowling assister

Then he decided that he was too big for that. He did a good job (his ball had holes for all 5 fingers which helped him hold it)!

Mr. Independent had to do it all by himself

After bowling we went for dinner at our bishops house

And then came home for presents.

He said the weirdest things when he opened his presents- I couldn't tell if he liked them or if we needed to work some more on gratitude.

"What?! A dollar?!" Kurt said incredulously.

And then, "Mom look, a dollar! And licorice!"

So he does like it :)

"Conduct with me!"

"Whoa! What?! Legos? Legos!!"

"Who is this? What did you get me?"

"Stand back space rangers or I'll get you with my laser!"

We cannot believe how grown up you are getting Kurt! I know how excited you were/are to be 4 now, but can you just stay this big forever? Who will snuggle me when you grow up?
