Happy 4th Luke!

Things timed out right so we were able to spend Luke's birthday down in Utah with the cousins.  Here is the "cake" I made for Luke and Jarom.

 We went out for a special birthday breakfast

They don't really do anything special for birthday's at Denny's, but our waiter found a candle for him.

Then later we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. We had lots of fun.

We spent a lot of time being archeologists and looking for the dinosaur bones.

Well, Luke spend a lot of time getting the sand out of his toes...

After our fun in the museum, we went to the lab to make fossils.

The plan had been to take him shopping on his birthday, but I could not convince him to go.  He said that he'd gotten enough for his birthday already.  Really?  Did my 4 year old just tell me he didn't want anymore presents?  I was able to convince him to open just one more though.

Then he was most excited to have his birthday "party" at Cinder-Ella's and Ooga Grandpa's.

He's such a cutie!
