Royals (aka Avengers) Baseball 2013

The boys were able to play on the same baseball team this year too!  Technically, they were on the Avengers (maybe the coaches picked the name?) but because the shirt was light blue (and we had 2 Royals hats) these boys always called themselves the Royals.

Field Trip Friday: Nature Park

We explored a new park today!

And played Frisbee Golf!!  It was a very hot day.

The boys said Dad needed his own Nerf gun.  So we got him one and set up a little war.  The note said:  "We declare war!!  You have 30 seconds until we attack!"

Then they left the note outside the basement door (where Dad was) and knocked and ran.

They're counting to 30...

Then they ran down to attack!

Dad was ready for them though

Luke said that Dad's darts hurt so he went and changed into something with padding!

And he's down!

He stole Luke's gun and was double shooting them!!

Field Trip Friday: Sand Dunes

For this weeks field trip we headed out to explore the Sand Dunes.  Everyone in Rexburg always talked about them so we figured we had to go see them before we headed out.  I still don't know if we were in the "right" place or played the "right" way, but we had a good time anyway.

The dunes were tall and hard to climb, especially for me with a 1 year old strapped on my chest. :)  I couldn't keep up with these two.

It was really pretty and the sand was hot!

They tried sledding down, but it was too slow for their taste.

They decided running down and crashing was much more fun.

This dude was happy to just sit and play with the sand in his fingers and toes.
